Heating Oil Budget Payment Account

Our budget payment account allows you to spread the cost of your heating oil deliveries across the year by splitting the amount into manageable monthly direct debit payments. A fixed amount, agreed with our finance department, will be debited from your bank account each month on a date of your choice.

Spreading the cost of your heating oil throughout the year means you will avoid any unexpected bills, which can be inconvenient at any time of year but particularly if they happen during the often expensive festive period.

A Flexible Way to Pay for Your Heating Oil

The budget payment account is our most popular method of payment for home heating oil. It offers a flexible approach to paying for your yearly consumption of heating oil. By basing your monthly payments on your oil consumption from the previous year means you are able to pay a fixed amount each month knowing that you will have only a small or nil balance on your account come the end of the year. The budget account also allows you to select the day on which we uplift the direct debit from your account, meaning you can schedule the monthly payment for a date most suitable for you.

How Much Will I Pay per month on the Budget Payment Account?

Our finance department will carefully work out your monthly payments, based on the quantity of heating oil you took last year, so that you owe little or no money at the end of our financial year when it would become due.

Budget accounts usually go into credit during the warmer months and debit over winter, just as they would from your electricity or other utility suppliers. For this reason we advise that you do not request to withdraw any credit from your account if you are on the budget plan. Doing so could mean that your payments would need to increase during the winter or leading up to the end of the year.

It is important to note that budget account payments are reviewed at 6 monthly intervals and can be subject to change. A change in circumstance such as: the frequency of orders and quantity of fuel, or a rise or fall in the price of heating oil, could all affect your monthly payments.

As an existing customer you may join our budget payment account at any time, however, we do ask that your account balance is cleared annually before 31st May. Please be aware that if you are placing your first order with us we would require payment up-front at the time of ordering. You would be eligible to join our budget payment account for subsequent orders.

What You need to Know About the Budget Payment Plan

The amount debited will be agreed between yourself and our Credit Control department.
This amount will vary depending on your purchase history and oil usage.
The payment plan operates between 1st June and 31st May inclusively each year.
We ask that your account is settled before 31st May each year.
Payments are reviewed at 6 month intervals and may be subject to change.
As we ask for payment upfront for the first order placed with us, you will be eligible to join the payment plan after this.
Please Note: deliveries made during the month of May can be carried forward to the next year.
