We do expect our delivery lead times to increase during the winter period, due to the volume of orders to deliver. Under normal circumstances our delivery lead time is within 3- 5 working days, but this can vary depending on a number of factors including the weather, and number of outstanding deliveries. You will be advised of the expected delivery date when you place your order.
Our usual delivery service operates Monday- Friday, year round. However, we will make Saturday deliveries should we have a large number of orders to deliver. This would be at the discretion of our management.
We do sell 20 litre drums of Kerosene from some, but not all, of our depot sites. Please contact your nearest depot for availability and pricing.
The best thing you can do is to contact us as soon as you can. We will place an order for you and ensure it is known that it is an urgent order. We will try our best to get a delivery of heating oil to you as quickly as possible.
If you run out of heating oil it is likely you will need to call out a boiler service engineer to bleed the fuel line from your storage tank to get the boiler started again safely. Let us know if you think this is something you require, and we will be able to organise this for you.
Same day deliveries may only be considered in cases deemed an emergency so long as we have the availability to do so. This would be at the discretion of our management.
We always try our best to get deliveries out as soon as possible. Working with you where we can to bring your delivery forward under special circumstances.
If you haven’t placed an order with us before, we do require payment in full upfront at the time of ordering. If you are unable to do this, we would ask that you speak to our finance department to see what options are available to you.
Our prices are carefully worked out and take into consideration many factors including delivery costs and the market prices. If you’ve received a cheaper quotation elsewhere, come back to us as we may be in a position to offer a more competitive price.
It’s more cost effective to order a larger quantity of heating oil than the minimum of 500 litres, as this means you will save on the delivery charges factored into the price per litre you pay. We recommend a tank fill, so long as you can afford this.
Unfortunately we are unable to provide a delivery time. Although our delivery schedules are managed by our operations staff, it is up to the discretion of the driver which order deliveries are made for the day.
So long as there is clear access to your fuel tank, it is not necessary for you to be home for the delivery to be made. If you would prefer to be present, we can provide a phone call the day before your delivery is scheduled.
We can only accept orders of 500 litres or above. Our tankers are fitted with industry standard weight meters calibrated to carry a minimum delivery of 500 litres. Our weight meters are in compliance of weights and measures legislation.
We would ask that do you keep an eye on your heating oil level, even-more-so through the winter, even if you are on our automatic top-up system.
Top-up deliveries are based on your usage from the previous year. Factors such as the weather or a change in personal circumstances could mean that your heating oil consumption increases or decreases. Monitoring your oil level helps us to ensure we are delivering to you when you need a fill of your tank, particularly during the busy winter period when our delivery schedules are at their busiest.
As soon as possible, contact our Boiler Maintenance department on 01343 557 435. Our engineers operate a boiler breakdown service over the weekend and during holidays. Prices for our boiler breakdown service can be found on our website.
We do not offer the option to pay for a faster delivery. Our delivery journeys are carefully planned by our experienced operations staff to ensure deliveries are made as timely and efficiently as possible.
If we haven’t managed to answer your question above, then please do not hesitate to contact your local depot, where our friendly staff will be able to help with your enquiry.
