After 53 years’ service, our company Chairman William Laing (Billy) has retired from our Company. Billy begun his employment with Gleaner in 1961 as a tanker driver based out of our Grantown-on-Spey depot before becoming promoted to sales representative, Manager, Managing Director and eventually Chairman.
At our Elgin head office recently, Billy in the above photo is shaking hands with Managing Director David Todd. Billy was also presented with gifts from the Directors of the Company and also from colleagues.
