Strengthening their position as a leading fuel supplier in Scotland, Gleaner Oils has announced that they are now serving the Lothian and Edinburgh areas. The announcement comes as part of an ambitious expansion strategy by the company.
To accommodate business growth, Gleaner Oils has taken the decision to expand the delivery area of their central-belt depot situated in Cowdenbeath, Fife. As an established company within the industry, heavy investment in new infrastructure including; new sales and driver talent, and continued developments of service and product offerings has been made. Answering the needs of customers, the natural progression was to increase the radius of the company’s delivery area.
Operating as a local service from 11 depot sites across Scotland, benefits customers by ensuring they receive a quick and reliable delivery service - crucial to meet the needs of not only heating oil customers but also the commercial and agricultural businesses in the area. Offering flexible payment options and the facility to place orders online at any time, enables Gleaner Oils to provide great customer care in a rapidly growing and continually evolving industry.
The owners, Jane Scott and her husband Stephen, who assumed full control in 2014, are overseeing a continuous programme of significant investment and are committed to ensuring that Gleaner remains an important part of the local communities served by the company with a focus that continually places the customer first.
