Gleaner Oils has been crowned the UK’s number one Shell Lubricants Distributor, having been awarded Shell Lubricants Distributor of the Year 2016.
In order to win the accolade Gleaner Oils had to excel in 3 main key performance areas including: Volume, premium growth and sales excellence. Overall, showing a fantastic growth in sales in a mature market during 2016.
Commenting Lubricants General Manager Stuart Kyle stated: “Winning the award certainly tops off an excellent year for Gleaner Oils and is fantastic recognition for the hard work and effort by the lubricants team especially, who have gone above and beyond for our customers. Looking forward to 2017 we are aiming to build upon the successes we have achieved in 2016”.
The awards dinner hosted at Lumley Castle Hotel in Country Durham, also saw Lubricants Business Developer, Simon Short receive a recognition award for his Technical Knowledge and Capability. As well as our Marketing Associate, Emma Golledge receiving a Shell Lubricants Distributor Marketing Excellence award.
