Gleaner Oils is pleased to announce that we have been shortlisted for the Rural Family Business (Large) award at The Herald Family Business Awards 2016.

The Rural Family Business (Large) category recognises family businesses in rural Scotland which have made a real difference.

The prestigious awards scheme, now in its 5th year, is a celebration of family-owned companies and the economic impact they have at home, abroad and in their local communities.

This year’s awards are held in association with Business Gateway, with this year’s judging panel being chaired by Herald Business Editor Ian McConnell.

Owner of Gleaner Oils Stephen Scott commented that winning the award “would mean a lot to the Gleaner family”.
Hugh Lightbody, Chief Officer at the Business Gateway National Unit said “winning a business award is far more than simply receiving the accolade. It is a clear demonstration of the business’s hard  work and quality and shows that the company is at the top if its game”

The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony in Glasgow on Wednesday 7th December.
