For the second year running, Gleaner will be displaying poppies across its fleet of commercial vehicles to show support for the Remembrance Day commemorations.

The poppies will be displayed on the fleet of tankers and boiler maintenance vans on the lead up to Remembrance Day, until November 12th. The vehicles operate from 10 company owned depots from across Scotland.

Gleaner’s headquarters’ in Elgin, Moray has remained neighboured with RAF Lossiemouth and Kinloss Barracks, throughout the companies near 65 years. With a strong bond, many of Gleaner’s customers, and staff are associated with the armed forces.

Following a year of rapid expansion into the central belt, Stirling and Lothians  as a result of business growth, the sentiment of the ‘Fleet of Poppies’ is more important than ever to the company and the local communities Gleaner builds relationships in.

Managing Director, David Todd says, ‘Our upcoming 65th Anniversary will be an opportune time to reflect on how Gleaner has continued to build networks within our communities. The staff at Gleaner are committed to building bonds with our customers and local business’ to provide quality fuels and services.‘
